OSP Design Engineer

GoNetspeed, in partnership with OTTC and UFN, is hiring for a OSP Design Engineer.

As the Outside Plant (OSP) Design Engineer, you’ll focus on the construction and maintenance of plant infrastructure, design, and engineering, as well as providing a route analysis of underground & aerial fiber optic installations.

Reporting to the OSP Operation Manager in this prominent position within the OSP department, you’ll be responsible for creating splice plans for the overall network design, preparing detailed construction drawings, and working closely with construction managers to oversee market status.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re an effective collaborator who is knowledgeable about accepted engineering practices. To be successful, you’ll need 5 years of telecommunications experience, OSP Engineering experience preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel on a regular basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 – $38.40 per hour
