General Labourer – Telecom

Location: Durham, GTA, York Region
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Operations Manager

Position Overview

The General Labourer (Telecom) is responsible for various tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites. Use of hand tools and operating machinery to perform their work and assist Telecom crews with other necessary tasks.

Key Functions & Duties:

· Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor

· Consult with work site plans

· Direct traffic safely around the construction or road site

· Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks

· Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment

· Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are worn

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· 1-2 years of related experience

Telecommunication experience

· Team player

· Ability to lift 50lbs
