About the role
We currently have a new opportunity for a full-time and part time 5x Contact Centre Live Chat Agent to join our Customer Contact Team.
Working from home, the Customer Contact team is the first line of communication between our customers and Leaptel. Customer Contact Officers are responsible for handling inbound inquiries relating to sales, billing and support and making outbound contact to finalise new services and respond to any issues that may arise with customer’s internet connections.
- This is an entry level role and no prior experience in telecommunications is expected.
- The position is full-time, Monday to Friday on our afternoon/evening shift (1:30pm – 9:30pm).
- The first three weeks you will need to be available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm for training.
- This position is subject to the Telecommunication Services Award 2020.
What do you need for the role?
You do not have to have previous sales or call centre experience to apply for this role. We are seeking enthusiastic hard workers who are looking for a new opportunity in an essential field.
You will need to be a strong clear communicator who can build rapport with customers and work to solve problems independently.
Knowledge of the internet is not fundamental; we will train you in what you need to know. But having some prior knowledge is always helpful.
Strong computer literacy and the ability to type up notes quickly is required as well as exposure to basic software packages such as Windows and MS Office.
Being reliable and professional is key, our goal is to get our work done in a fun and friendly manner with everyone working together to achieve this goal.
You will need to have full work-rights in Canada.
