Belcan is looking for a Signaling & Communications Engineering Project Manager who is a critical thinker, innovative and detail oriented to work in the railway industry!

As a Signaling & Communications Engineering Project Manager, you will be leading a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers and Technicians in the maintenance and repair of the Systems and its associated equipment under the Scope of the Signaling and Communication project rail systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the maintenance team to carry out infrastructure Signaling and Communication maintenance activities
• Be responsible of any technical communications with the customer and external stakeholders
• Raise the project’s technical risks and build the corresponding mitigation plan
• Identify the applicable regulations and ensure they are respected and implemented
• Approve technical documents, provide necessary input and relay them to core team members
• Solve technical issues
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of your team
• Liaise with other team leaders, in planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Ensure that your team adopts the Ways of Working (WOW) Behaviors
• Manage prioritization, and delivery of all corrective activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Industrial Engineer or related field
• 10+ years of experience in a similar industrial environment
• Experience in railway maintenance and with railway normative, especially in Signaling and Security on board systems.
• Experience in management positions
• Knowledge of electrical, traction and brake system for railway or similar
• Knowledge of SAP, GSI or other ERP systems is an asset
