**This position is Hybrid in Newark, NJ, and the candidate will have to come for the 2nd Shift hours (3PM to 11 PM)**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, Validate and Notify.
· Respond to problems in the Network Operations Center (NOC). Monitor and troubleshoot the data communications network system.
· Detect and respond to infrastructure alerts, escalating to appropriate parties when necessary. Use network management tools to determine the nature of the outage and resolve problems.
· Service Desk & Knowledge of ITIL incident management and process flows
· Ability to leverage network tools (Wireshark, NetPath )
· Network Monitoring (SolarWinds, Dynatrace)
· Troubleshooting with telco carriers, ticket tracking. (Footprints, ServiceNow)
· Working knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
· Interpersonal skills & Communication skills (Written, Listening, Verbal)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
