The Voice Services Telecommunication Analyst position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of telephone hardware and software in a very complex and high paced, multi-tasking environment.

As the Telecommunication Analyst on our team you will be responsible for managing/overseeing front line operational MACD and Incident tickets to support end-users, as well as assisting with the implementation of telephony applications and hardware for knowledge workers.

Other responsibilities for the Telecommunication Analyst include:

  • Hands on implementation at remote facilities, including vendor management to ensure specifications are maintained and the architectural design is adhered to.
  • Installing media gateways and servers.
  • Working with the network infrastructure on QOS issues.
  • This position provides on-call coverage, 24×7, on a rotational basis.


Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 46,400
Maximum: 97,400

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience, Avaya IP Telephone, Teams Voice, and IP design and maintenance.
  • 2+ years of experience with Teams Voice, configuration, programming and end-user support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Avaya System Installation and Management; Avaya System and Session Manager, Avaya Communication Manager, fundamental knowledge of voice mail systems for various brands.
  • Cisco CUCM knowledge (including Jabber, and WebEx Calling).
  • Knowledge of carrier services and interfaces.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written).
  • Organizational skills and technical documentation.
  • Able to think outside the box.
  • Problem Solving experience, troubleshooting, demonstrate team dynamics. Training end users to use various telephony products as required.
  • Proficiency with MS office applications, Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, and a multi-site environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to check jacks under desks.
  • Ability to walk throughout building for up to 2-hour duration.
  • Working knowledge of Starfish (or equivalent) automation, Service Now ticketing system, Nectar, Aternity, Splunk.
  • Telework Support (understand connectivity needs of end users, troubleshooting skills to be able to help remote workers from a voice perspective.


Education

Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
