Field Operations Dispatcher

telMAX will rapidly become a significant player in the Ontario telecom market and we have entered a phase of expansion in fibre optic network construction and service provision.

Our employees are members of the local communities we serve, our Customer Service Centre is locally based and manned by a professional team of Associates. To support our growth, we now are looking to appoint an experienced Dispatcher professional to join the team.

Field Operations Dispatcher

Summary of Duties:

• Ensure the smooth and efficient workflow of the field operations team including in-house and contractor resources to enable the team to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Confer with technicians and managers by telephone or online to ensure that appointments are assigned and completed on time.
• Manage technician workload and re-assigning work throughout the day as necessary.
• Communicating with customers to schedule/reschedule appointments.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Recommends improvements in processes, products, service, and procedures to prevent future problems.
• Assigns the highest priority to customer satisfaction while meeting commitments to achieve business objectives
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work in Canada
• Must be able to communicate orally and verbally in English
• Organized, structured, and professional, with passion and drive
• Strong previous experience in a dispatch environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively as a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage varied workload in a face paced working environment.
• Accountable and flexible
• Integrity under pressure
• Practices and maintains integrity while following the Company policies and procedures
• Creates a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge

• Dispatching Experience
• Telecommunication and network experience (but not essential)
• First Aid training
