Field Technician

OVER 5 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AVALIABLE

MUST HAVES:

• Must have knowledge of construction practices and techniques related to utility construction
• Must have outside Plant Telecom experience along with OSP Engineering or construction experience
• Must have plant copper or fiber optic cable facilities documentation experience (UG, Aerial, Buried)
• Must have ability to complete work according to customer specifications and requirements
• Must have familiarity in obtaining necessary permit information for railroads, highways, etc.
• Must be able to work independently, travel weekly to job site and possess valid driver’s license
• High School diploma

PLUSSES:

• Rural Utilities Service (RUS) telecom outside plant experience
• AutoCAD experience
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree

Insight Global is seeking qualified individuals to perform telecommunications outside plant technical services involving mapping, staking, and/or construction surveillance activities of outside plant facilities – aerial and buried. Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Experience:

• Outside Plant Telecom: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Plant Copper or Fiber Optic Cable: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)
