Position: Wireless Real Estate Project Manager – HYBRID

Duration: 1 year contract

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience Telecom or Wireless industry doing site acquisitions/real estate
• Experience with site acquisition and project management of Marco New Builds sites
• Permitting, Zoning, and Leasing processes
• Experience managing & creating PO’s and can stick to budget for sites
• Experience working on a high volume of sites and managing outside site acquisition companies
• Ability to manage databases and keep projects up-to-date
• Must be physically local in the market. Do not apply unless you plan to reside in the Chicago area and attend the office as needed

Plusses:

• A college degree is preferred (If the candidate has enough experience we may consider them)

Day to Day:

The ideal candidate will work as a Real Estate Specialist II directing the work of outside RE, A&E & Legal in order to take sites from search ring to real estate complete. They will manage all aspects of the relationships, including weekly deployment calls, creating PO’s, providing a read-out to management, and attending site walks as needed. They will also be responsible for working with A&E firms to route drawings to each internal group for approval.

Specialist will manage real estate (pre-construction) efforts in support of our 4G/5G macro new build and/or modification programs. This involves vendor oversight of site acquisition and A&E partners to successfully navigate various milestones to get to a “real estate complete” work product. Work involves supervising third party vendors in performing due diligence, negotiating leases or amendments, and obtaining governmental approvals and permits. Must be able to collaborate with other internal teams such as the Outreach Team, RF, construction, transport, and legal to achieve successful outcomes. Having a proven track record in areas of project management, ability to accurately forecast deliverables, maintain database information fields, and understanding the impact of the job to the overall business will be critical to this position. Specialists will assist with special projects as they come up, which may include site audit review, scoping for special projects, routing deal memo packages, assisting other departments, vendors and landlords with other RE requests, etc.

Logistics/work environment:

• Currently, we are Hybrid workers working 2 days per week in the office and remote 3 days.
• Occasional days in the office as the project will require sometimes
• Position does not require driving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
