Pay Rate: Approx $32/hr ($67,000 annually)

Job Type: 6 to 12 month on-site contract

Summary: Our client is an IT Services Provider (MSP) supporting and upgrading the network (routing, switching, IP Phones, etc.) of a banking customer in White Plains, NY. We are looking for a junior Network Engineer to work on-site, providing a physical presence for basic configuration and troubleshooting of edge routers and distribution switches as well as Call Manager and IP Phones. Our client’s network engineering team supporting this person is excellent, with multiple CCIE’s, and will provide training and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Upload/edit Cisco IOS configurations
• Cabling moves, adds & changes at the MDF/IDF/Closet
• Basic route/switch troubleshooting
• Work with telecom providers on troubleshooting
• Documentation
• IP Phone and CallManager support

Qualifications:

• 2 years of hands-on Cisco router and switch support experience
• CCENT-level skills
• Reliable with very good communication skills
• US Citizen or Green Card

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime

Experience:

• Network administration: 2 years (Required)
