Network Technician

Salary: $22.31-$25.84/hr.

Description of Role
SRI Telecom is seeking a Network Technician responsible for Dispatch, ticket prioritization and Customer callbacks. Validation, and correlation of Plant and Customer escalated tickets to resolution, Works with moderate supervision/guidance and Is accountable for individual results and impact on team.
Tasks
- Frequently runs reports, does data collecting, and data mining.
- Analyzes tools dealing with power supplies (i.e. Continuity) for alerts and proper maintenance.
- Implements preventive maintenance schedules for the Network teams.
- Provides technical assistance to lower-level technicians.
- Must be able to coordinate and run conference calls with the Field techs and other departments.
- Must be able to use current tools to gather data and report information to accurately direct fix organizations.
- Maintains and monitors multiple queues through ticketing systems.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
- A General understanding of the Fiber Deep architecture is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Responsibilities
- experience in dealing with the HFC- plant and Fiber.
- Experience with data mining and reporting is highly desired.
- The Ability to use advanced web tools is required
- High School education or Equivalent.
- Generally requires 2-5 years related experience.
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday

Salary
This position pays an average of $24.04/hour on up, depending on experience.
