Our client in the telecommunications industry is looking for a communication specialist. This role will be responsible for writing articles and assembling projects. This is an ad hoc position, and the candidate will work 15 hours a week on average. This is a contract position and is 100% remote. The pay rate is flexible based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Write internal news articles for intranet site
- Assemble projects that affect employee retention and engagement
- Occasional impromptu interviews with employees to get copy and verbatim
- Work on recognition website to pull data from encouraging individuals
- Attend weekly meetings and take minutes
- Work on the launch of an internal social site called Yammer
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in related fields such as communications and journalism
- Experience with writing, social media, MS Office, communications, and editing
- Experience with Yammer is a plus
