The telecommunications industry is going through a major transformation within its network driven by several technology shifts, including 5G, the virtualization of the network functions and advancements in OSS/BSS including utilization of AI/ML. The Telecom Systems Business Unit (TSB) is a rapidly growing global organization comprised of specialized experts dedicated to strategically and intimately partnering with Telecom customer who are deeply engaged in a transformation within their network by delivering best-in-class technology and service solution based on offerings from Dell Technologies. The TSB Specialty organization is the primary connection point between customers, Sales and the functions within TSB and is made up of various technical and business development sales roles, as well as commercial and account focused resources with a common mission to drive adoption of TSB capabilities within our customers and requirements back into the business. Sitting at this junction between the customers and the business uniquely positions TSB Specialty to drive processes that align and drive insights, action and readiness.

What You’ll Achieve

As aTelecom Systems Business GTM Specialty Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for partnering closely with function leaders, executives and subject matter experts to lead complex, cross-functional projects/programs and processes that drive measurable progress toward achieving our strategy. Most immediately, they will implement, manage/lead and continually improve three distinct processes designed to ensure specific go to market readiness (GMR) aspects of new product introduction (NPI).

You will work with team members within and beyond the telecom organization to drive strategic processes and operations that enable our organization to deliver industry-leading solutions for telecommunications service providers. This position requires extensive team member coordination, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly. Attention to detail, project management skills, and a highly organized, process-focused mind are required to manage team priorities and deliverables. They must be able to execute under pressure/ deadlines with an extreme sense of urgency and drive forward even when faced with ambiguity,

You will:

• Own & execute complex programs and workstreams within larger initiatives across regions and time zones.
• Implement program structures with cadences and appropriate dashboards to closely track, report and escalate, ensuring visibility and consensus on workstreams, owners and milestones.
• Works with stakeholders to define business requirements for projects & processes
• Understands & works within organizational BMS (business management system) framework to track open actions, ensure availability of meeting materials and completeness of data
• Works with cross-functional operations leaders to develop and administer BU-level reporting in conjunction with stakeholders for critical product metrices.
• Lead team problem solving, influence executive thinking and drive them to action and impact when necessary.
• Evaluate and implement best practices techniques that ensure goal achievement.
• Influence and manage continuous improvement of project/program process, practices, and initiatives.
• Maintain in-depth awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to meet program delivery requirements.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of related experience in a project/program management or operations role
• Experience supporting core business operations processes and cadences
• Communications – Strong written, power point and verbal communications skills, experience delivering executive-level presentations
• Structured problem solving – disaggregate complex problems, drive analysis to understand root causes and propose solutions
• Ability to develop, implement, manage, and refine cross-functional processes
• Ability to execute under pressure/ deadlines and drive forward even when faced with ambiguity.
• Self -motivated and able to work under pressure, dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task.
• Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment; flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
• Willingness to work hours to drive programs in APJ (West Coast) or EMEA (East Coast).
