Hardware Account Executive
Position Overview
Account Executives are responsible for bringing in and managing their own book of business within the LinkSource portfolio of product and service offerings. In addition to Hardware and
Hardware related services, this includes introducing customers to LinkSource managed service offerings and sources of recurring revenue. While making introductions to LinkSource’s primary business, the Account Executive will implement an agreed upon sales plan which will meet personal goals of expanding customer base and revenue in hardware. They will work in conjunction with presales engineering and sales support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, account management, revenue generation, and long-term account goals.
This role is suited for those with prior experience of outside sales and a strong desire to drive recurring revenue compensation on top of one-time hardware sales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the sales of IT hardware equipment, maintenance and/or infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrate effective sales strategies and manage the sales cycle across customer base for LinkSource service offerings
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal model
- Demonstrate the ability to independently carry on a business conversation with business influencers and decision makers
- Sell, consult, and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions
- Involve LinkSource support team in conversations and problem-solving opportunities with customers
- Maintains regular contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
Education & Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience with proven track record of success with minimum of 2 years of sales experience specifically in selling hardware, software, or IT services.

Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Able to use discretion and independent discernment.
- Expected to have professional image and be business savvy during customer interactions.
- Good knowledge of technology and the industry dynamics.
- Possess a sense of urgency, exceptional organizational and follow up skills.
- Prefer a strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Windows,
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and a modern ERP system).
- Excellent social skills with the ability to present in a group setting.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $500,000.00 per year
