The C&S Strategy Senior Business Process Analyst is accountable for driving successful project implementation, under the leadership and guidance of the C&S Strategy Lead for printed communications. They achieve this through partnership with the Correspondence Management & Development and other teams to achieve key deliverables, and solution and operationalize customer requirements. This position will be accountable for managing and driving member communications strategy through end-to-end execution for the Community and State product portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategy and work with Project and Operations teams to develop and execute planning and direction of all aspects of Member Material’s objectives, policies, and initiatives
    • Drive engagement and Relationships – Socializes and collaborates strategies with all C&S business partners specifically: state health plans, Member Experience, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance
    • Innovation – identify solutions to improve process, member experience and quality
    • Controls – implement controls in the Value Chain process to mitigate unplanned material requests
    • Collaborates with Operational teams within CM&D to ensure timely program implementation and delivery
  • Read, understand and assess RFPs, responses and materials, with the goal of identifying and documenting operational implications
  • Accurately assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
  • Ensure alignment and understanding of program/project scope and objectives with the organization’s strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer, in consultation with applicable stakeholders
  • Provide all requirements to Materials Operations Team for execution of Member Materials Strategy
  • Ensure that the operations teams follow the overall project strategy for C&S E2E
  • Create and manage project plans, risk trackers, and other standard project management documentation
  • Drive progress of project across numerous stakeholders and project teams
  • Solve complex problems and/or conducts complex analyses based on data and facts
  • Proactively anticipate issues and facilitate resolution
  • Identify, escalate and drive resolution of issues and risks by solutioning and problem solving across numerous functional areas
  • Effectively lead meetings with cross functional partners to achieve decision making and action
  • Develop and deliver presentations to business partners on project status and issues
  • Encourage employee engagement. Create and maintain an environment of collaboration, best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Support C&S Strategy initiatives and projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
  • 3+ years of successful operational business program execution and project management
  • 3+ years of professional level MS Office experience Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • 1+ years of Project Management experience in a production environment
  • Ability to build effective business processes and metrics to measure business performance, quality, and cost in-order to make sound business decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience of Print production: supply chain, production, supplier, strategic sourcing, and/or direct response marketing management
  • 1+ years of experience with Managed Care/Healthcare business lifecycle, governances, and regulations
  • Experience with government guidelines, compliance, regulations (i.e. CMS, Healthcare Reform)
  • Solid communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of successful and effective problem solving

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
