On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Wireless Network Analyst for a 6 months contract position working in a hybrid work situation.

Wireless Network Analyst Details

• Network and Data Center Rationalization is a post-SET project to first collect information relating to the network infrastructure across campus to present to campus executive
• and then bring standardization to network services and infrastructure across campus based on prioritization from the initial work.

Wireless Network Analyst Responsibilities

• Looking for staff augmentation to perform wireless site surveys across campus buildings (walking through all spaces of all floors of all buildings taking readings of the wireless service delivery to allow the client to have a comprehensive view on current state of wireless services.

Wireless Network Analyst Mandatory Skills

• Has wireless network experience.
• Competent at performing wireless site surveys using tools such as Ekahau.
• Competent at performing wireless coverage plans using tools such as Ekahau.
• Competent at planning and executing projects.
• Have a basic knowledge of Information Systems and a sound understanding of the concepts and applications of telecommunications within Information Systems.
• High level people skills relating to accessing multiple spaces with potentially sensitive users.
• Familiarity with Ekahau Survey and Sidekick products is strongly desired.
• Ability to professionally Interact with members of campus, communicating who they are and why they are there.
• Experience with wireless network deployments in general and be able to identify areas of concern directly to the wireless operations staff.
• Will need a laptop
• Able to walk around the campus
