What will you be doing?
A new exciting opportunity has come available here at Vodafone, we are looking for a new Solution Architect (SA) to join our UK Business team. The SA role is to be the Design Lead for the end-to-end technical solution and service integration for projects within an aligned customer deal. The role will be responsible for working with the delivery teams and 3rd parties in order to design and document the solution to be delivered.
- Lead detailed design activities for the application, network and infrastructure aspects of the solution
- Ensuring designs meet requirements relating to Architecture, Legal/Regulatory, Data protection, and Security
- Support and occasionally lead the external & Internal system interface
- Provide technical assurance and support testing, implementation, integration and operational readiness activities
Who are we looking for?
At Vodafone we are looking for you to have experience of working with 3rd party vendors both on the technical and business level as well as knowledge of how services and operations work.
- Strong understanding and experience of Telecommunications Networks (ideally 4G/LTE).
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent
- Strong understanding and experience of specific Network technologies, to include IPv4, IPv6 and MPLS networks.
- Strong understanding and experience of network integration to cloud-based platforms (ideally AWS).
- Strong understanding and experience of cloud-based platforms, to included hosting and services (ideally AWS).
- Good knowledge of IT Security standards and compliance requirements.
