Photonics Engineer

Description: Our Client in Ottawa Ontario is looking for an experienced Principal Photonics Engineer to lead and advise on significant and unique projects in the telecommunications industry.

The Principle Engineer takes lead and advises engineering teams on unique challenges and projects. You will oversee entire product development, from process through to production. You will be expected to demonstrate acute knowledge and expertise. You are a leader, and have a proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder engagement. you will be the strategic principle photonic engineer, leading projects from ideation to production.

Our Client has a unique and novel package of Photonic technologies. You are eager to take the lead on design modifications and improvements, and improve engineering amongst your team. All Candidates with Photonics work experience are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Knowledge of Photonics as it Pertains to Telecoms

Experience with Transceivers

Flip Chips & Wire Bonding

Knowledge of Mechanics, as it pertains to Lasers
