JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer in the Las Vegas, NV market is looking for a desktop support technician. The field support technician provides direct on-site assistance to end users, guests and staff of the client. The field support technician may be asked to support, manage, repair, remove, replace, or upgrade existing or aging hardware and/or software deployed by the client. Hardware may include but are not limited to: computers, laptops and related components, network components, printers, copiers, telecommunication devices, time clocks, security cameras, kiosks, digital displays, audio/visual components (CATV) and structured cabling.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in IT or an IT certification (Comp TIA or A+)
At least 2 years+ of experience as a field tech or service desk tech
Must understand Windows 7 or higher
Experience working with physical hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, cables, monitors, mouse and keyboards, network switches, IP phones, etc.
Great personality & being well polished are huge factors!
