Telecommunications Analyst

Our client is a global retailer having been around for over 60 years and headquartered in the Northwest suburbs. Their target demographic has expanded over the years and presents a significant opportunity for advancement and change. The business has made strategic partnerships which have triggered rapid growth and new leadership has focused on making technology a top priority. This opportunity offers remote flexibility with an expectation of 3 days onsite during training, and 2 days onsite thereafter!

We are looking for a contractor to step in and assist the service delivery team in telecom related processes. You will be responsible for global billing/changes within telecom services and ensure the business is up to speed on active contracts and inventory that allows them to make cost saving decisions for the organization. Your day to day will consist of addressing tickets to resolution, communicating with vendors/carrier providers, and working closely with other network and IT teams to ensure deadlines are met. You must be a detail oriented individual and know your way around excel!

Experience

• Experience in telecom billing processes in a global enterprise environment
• Familiar with TEM system (move, change, delete, approve orders)
• Experience with Excel
• Experience acting as point of contact for carrier providers and the organization to schedule installations, activations, deactivations and testing of services/hardware.
• Familiar with the following technology (MPLS/VoIP/TDM/DIA/SDWAN, Telecom)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
