Principal Network Engineer

We are recruiting for a Network Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL to lead our network engineering team in deployments and refreshes. We are a thriving enterprise company with excellent team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Network Engineering team in creating a Design & Deployment Guide for new equipment installations for Warehouses, Corporate and Sales Offices.
• Lead the Network Engineering team to ensure that all Bills of Materials are correct prior to ordering as well as ensuring that all equipment received is correct.
• Configure all equipment prior to shipping to site locations and ensure that all configurations are 100% accurate.
• Assist with the design of each location regarding telecommunications, physical cabling, network infrastructure wireless and VOIP.
• Ensure that all new networking equipment is added to the appropriate network tools such as Solarwinds, Prime or Airwave.
• Onsite implementation for all equipment during change windows.
• Provides Tier 2 support
• Involved in the evaluation of new products and services

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Network Engineering
• 5+ years of experience handling multiple deployments of Networks
• 5+ years of routing/switching experience
• 3+ years of Data Center experience
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud Technology and interconnectivity (Azure and AWS)
• 3+ years of experience with Palo Alto or Cisco firewall deployment
• Experience with ACI Network policy based automation model

• Experience creating Design and Deployment Guides for multiple sites
• Experience configuring equipment for multiple site location
• Experience adding network equipment to the appropriate network tools such as Solarwinds, Prime or Airwave.
• Strong wireless skillset

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
