Senior Tax Accountant: Work for a global telecommunications provider

We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Accountant to work at a well-known, global telecommunications provider here on Long Island.

In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Tax and work closely with corporate treasury, accounting & finance, as well as the executive team. You will perform diversified tax-related duties ranging from gathering information to preparing the federal and state corporate income/franchise tax returns to assisting with the preparation of the income tax footnote for the quarterly and annual SEC filings and more.

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 with a comprehensive benefits package – plus, the company advocates for a balanced work/life environment.

Job qualifications & requirements include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s Degree in Tax preferred

· Three to five years of corporate income tax accounting and compliance experience in a public accounting firm

· Experience with CCH Tax research materials

· High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills

· Must be able to work in an office setting on a hybrid schedule
