WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB //
As part of the Brand Ambassador (BA) team for this activation, you’ll work with GMR Leadership to execute the event activities for a well-known telecommunications company in the Greater Chicago area.
Our team of Brand Ambassadors are fundamental to the success of each activation. The client for this activation hosts monthly events and this role will be scheduled according to business needs. Your schedule can remain flexible and will be accommodated based on your availability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO //
- Work with the Program Manager to provide general labor assistance in setting up & breaking down the event footprint & materials at scheduled activations – must be able to lift, move or carry 50+lbs
- Learn how to set up a variety of event materials, including digital games & promotional activities
- Be extremely punctual & effectively manage time to ensure the event footprint & materials are set up before the event start time and broken down at the scheduled event end time
- Take the initiative to resolve issues that arise on-site in a professional, effective manner
- Communicate with GMR Leadership regarding availability & changes in your schedule to ensure proper coverage at each event
- Attend any and/or all activation training to ensure event details are understood & executed to GMR & the client’s standard
- Must be able to work efficiently alone and in a group setting
- Remain engaged and professional with staff and guests, at all times
- Remain open to feedback, guidance, and direction as it pertains to job performance and personal growth
YOUR EXPERIENCE //
- Experiential Marketing, Brand Ambassador, General Labor or a combination of experience, preferred
- Skilled with technology and/or telecommunications
- Strong professional communication, interpersonal and organization skills are essential, as well as the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Highly attentive to details
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from events
- Must wear required uniform
