Project Manager (Telecom Construction)

Description:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience is required with hands-on OEM equipment experience, and a good understanding of general build configurations, Field Operations, MOP’s and Integration practices.
• T Mobile, Ericsson, or Nokia is required.
• Manage all aspects of small to intermediate projects throughout the development lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change. Must have experience working in a national capacity working and supporting other National teams as well as Regional, and Market stakeholders to define project parameters, then translate customer needs into formal requirements, using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology.
• Develop detailed project schedule, resource plan, and status reports, managing task assignment to project resources and reporting on and managing project scope throughout the lifecycle.
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end-user, services organizations, vendors, and implementations partners.
• Reporting background preferred with ability to document details from meetings, assign ownership, and follow-up on action plans and targets.
• Review project deliverables for accuracy, and apprise management of risks, issues, and recommended mitigations.
• Ensure satisfactory transfer of custody and control of product upon handoff, then close all project documentation and archive appropriate records.

• Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) 5G/LTE Build and/or Field Operations experience.
• What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) Host meeting & document notes, review data, analyze and report findings. Collaborate with external teams on different programs for progress and updates. Follow up with action items for deliverables and meeting timelines.
• Preferred background/prior work experience? OEM – Nokia or Ericsson experience preferred, Or broad network and technical experience in the telecom space.
• Priority soft skills: Must be able to collaborate with all team members and external partners. Excellent communicator (written and verbal), good time management, be proactive, and a solutions focused candidate.
