Job Summary:

CBM of America is actively seeking multiple Telecommunications Installers to support Intelligent Edge Network builds traveling throughout the North and Central New Jersey and surrounding areas. Ideal candidates will have Telecommunications installation experience in one or more of the following telecommunication environments: Central Office’s, PoP sites, and Data Centers. The Telecommunication Installer will run cables, lace cables, build racks, build frames, mount shelves, crimp small power cables, and perform continuity testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of installation including rack and stack, full infrastructure builds backbone cabling, copper and fiber testing, and complex DC power work.
• Lacing: power stitch, Kansas city stitch, Chicago stitch.
• Secure Cables: Horizontal and Vertical cable racks.
• Build and level aux frames, cable rack, and relay racks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Telecommunication Installer should have minimum 3 years Central Office/PoP/Data Center installation experience.
• Fiber testing experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Experience:

• Telecommunication: 3 years (Required)
• Data center experience: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Required)
