ETS is seeking a Field Engineer to join our first-class Inspections Team. The Field Engineer will work in a two-person field crew performing structural mapping services and post modification services using engineered design documents for towers. This position requires the ability to climb towers using best safety practices under the direct supervision of a climbing lead. The applicant will have the technical ability to provide basic closeout documentation for all field services performed. Tower climbing safety training and equipment will be provided. The Field Engineer can advance rapidly in their career into a leadership role.

Conditions of Employment

• Possession of a valid driver’s license is a requirement for this job.
• Successful candidate must submit to a background check and drug screen.
• 80% travel, 20% office
• Must be able to perform physical labor including climbing, digging, measuring, and lifting.

Minimum Qualifications

· 2-year engineering technician certification, or equivalent wireless experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree (civil or mechanical engineers are preferred)
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
• Valid driver’s license insurable by company insurance company
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Industry or field inspection experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights.

Additional Requirements

This position includes exposure to high altitudes and exposure to all weather conditions.

Pay Range:

$45,000 – $60,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
