Lead Tower Technician

Responsibilities

• Crew lead to respond to daily work requests to support Carrier outages and routine maintenance
• Sweep, Pim, Fiber Test and troubleshoot
• Daily timesheets and weekly expense forms filled out correctly
• Daily truck inspections to comply with DOT regulations
• Daily safety inspections of ropes, harness, rigging gear, and tooling
• Daily Job briefs with job hazard analysis
• Professionally interact with customers, technicians, and safety personnel
• Equipment and Material requests

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with ability to lead and manage crews
• Valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass background check and valid drug test
• Ability to travel even though certain markets may offer more home time.
• Ability to assess issues related to routine maintenance of Major Wireless carriers
• Experience installing equipment on varius tower types
• Overtime as needed to support Maintenance contracts
• Daily closeouts to project manager and customer through email, word, and excel documentations
• Must have completed Comtrain Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue Training
