Network Cabling Video/data Employees
DOTCOM is looking to add new Network Cabling Technicians to install Network Cabling video/data on our commercial environment side. We are looking for qualified contractors with a Network Infrastructure Cabling Background. Telecommunications cabling background. We service mainly the Pinellas County/Hillsborough County Areas!
Position to remain open until filled.
MDU Network Cabling Technician Qualifications installation Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 1 year of direct or related experience in the field.
2. Be able to pass a pre- Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check.
3. Have a clean driving record and valid Driver’s License.
4. Be willing to travel.
5. Be willing to work (days/nights).
6. Have a positive attitude and be highly motivated.
7. Possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve.
8. Ability to distinguish varying wire colors.
Essential Functions:
1. Understanding and ability to install Network Infrastructure Cabling to current standards cable.
2. Proficient in types of terminating, installing, and testing both inside and outside plant Network Cabling to include Category 6, Coax, SM/MM Fiber Optics.
3. Responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, certification, and documentation of Network Cabling video/data cabling as well as related Network Cabling video/data maintenance activities.
4. Telecom certifications are a HUGE plus.
5. Ability to read and understand complex prints- Network video/data designs and Network equipment installations.
6. Have a desire and ability to support customer needs with strong attention to detail.
7. Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.
