Job Title: Project Archaeologist – Marietta, Georgia

Job Summary
Trileaf is seeking a full time, SOI-Qualified, Project Archaeologist to work out of Trileaf’s Marietta, GA office. This individual should have at least 2 years of field experience and applied knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically related to telecommunications projects. Projects are generally completed throughout the southeastern U.S. Therefore, previous regional archaeological experience is preferred. This position will report to Trileaf’s Marietta (Atlanta area) office.
Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate, financial, and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities and Duties
The job will include, but is not limited to, the completion of SHPO file reviews for above and below ground cultural resources, unsupervised Phase I archaeological surveys, and cultural resource report writing/production.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must demonstrate the following qualifications/skills:
  • Master’s degree or higher in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field
  • SOI Qualified
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Valid Driver License
  • Capable of field work
  • Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time)
  • Good computer skills
  • Be an independent worker dedicated to excellence
