Qualifications:
Must have a high level of knowledge and hands-on experience with design and installation of Low Voltage Communications Cabling Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, LED Lighting Systems, and Audio-Visual Systems integration for commercial, industrial, and educational clients.

- Must be able to read RFP’s and floor plans and provide proposals accordingly
- Experience in estimating and sales in the Low Voltage industry

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communication, and appearance
- Familiarity with Building Codes and Fire Alarm standards
- Must have experience with applicable software packages including Bluebeam, BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, etc..
- Ability to travel to project sites.
- Pass background checks
Responsibilities Include:
- Support design tasks for building technologies including telecommunication structured cabling, audio/visual and electronic security systems.
- Demonstrates significant understanding of the range of services provided by the engineering teams & related practices.
- Works independently, under general supervision, supports the team during design and construction stages of projects.
- Work within multidisciplinary project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
- Create detailed take-offs from plans and drawings
- Collaboration and coordination with internal project discipline team members.
- Researches & recommends fundamental components identified in designs
- Development of equipment, conveyance and device layouts, floor plan, and riser diagrams
- Preparation of cabling schedules, equipment lists, and bid specifications
- Attend client and design meetings
- Perform site surveys and walk projects with customer
- Perform project submittals & project closeout documentation
- Provide technical information and prepare proposals complete with bill of materials, labor, subcontract, and other charges as needed
- Create detailed project descriptions, SoW’s, & BoM’s, as well as information needed for an accurate and detailed job fill
- Keep informed of new products and developments
- Attend in-house training sessions and manufacturers’ training as assigned
- Continue developing professional via training

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
