Telecom Lineman

Responsibilities

• No On Call, No weekends.
• 4 – 10hr day work week available.
• Work is located southern New Hampshire, Boston surroundings and Worcester North.
• Lash aerial and underground telecommunications cables
• Average pulls are 3000-5000ft pull of over lash.
• Pole Transfer
• Drive company vehicles safely

• Safely use hand tools and equipment such as; wrenches, drills, ladders, lanyards, saws, lashers, climbing hooks, and more.
• Load lashing equipment
• Set up safety signs, cones and other safety equipment
• Be comfortable with working in all weather types.
• Safety oriented: able to
• set workzones up properly, use PPE, follow safe work practices, policies and procedures set for by our company

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1-3 Years experience lashing fiber.
• Ability to complete various types of pole transfers.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (Commercial driver’s license preferred but
• Able to learn names and use of multiple construction parts and equipment.
• Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance
• Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $27.00 – $39.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Telecommunication: 1 year (Preferred)
• Aerial Line Construction: 1 year (Required)
