JOB DESCRIPTION

Daleo Inc. is looking for a Project Field Assistant to join our team in the San Jose, CA area. A Field Project Assistant will assist Project Managers and Superintendents in the management of PG&E gas construction projects by performing key tasks, including field preconstruction, scheduling, material ordering, document control and mobile as-builts. Our ideal candidate is a self-directed and motivated individual who will support the team and represent Daleo in the most professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Participate and assist with job setup, pre-field/layout, and coordination

· Create and maintain As-Builts (LocusView Mobile As Builts) and job documentation
(job to job travel required)

· Coordinate and layout work based off construction drawings and documents

· Creates project schedules with support of Project Managers

· Collect and manage all field/project documentation

· Responsible for ensuring Foreman and field crew have all necessary and accurate
project information and documentation

· Offers technical information to Project Superintendent to ensure work compiles with
applicable codes, drawings, and specifications

· Finalize and submit closeout documentation and requirements (pictures, punch list,
etc.)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge & Experience

· Proficiency with computers/smart phone/tablet and various applications including
Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook) and BlueBeam

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and self-manage

· Positive attitude and desire to work in a team environment

· Ensures accuracy, attention to detail and follow through

· Adaptable to change, learning new techniques and career development

· Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

· Valid Class C Driver’s License and clean driving record

Education

· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university preferred; construction management degree preferred
