located in Clear Lake, is considering applications for an Installation Repair Technician for the
Milbank, SD area. ITC is a progressive telecommunications company that provides voice,
video, and data services over fiber-optic facilities to nearly 15,000 customers located in
northeastern SD and western MN.
Qualified applicants must carry a valid driver’s license and must have a minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Some of the primary duties and qualifications include:
- Install and repair services and equipment at the customer premises.
- Install, repair, splice, and test fiber-optic/copper cable systems.
- Locate underground facilities.
- Ability to read & interpret documents such as maps, staking sheets, and operating & maintenance instruction manuals.
- Ability to work independently & make sound technical decisions using information at hand.
- Great computer skills.
- Ability to be on call.
