Immediate opening for Lead Technician/Lead Service Technician. 21st Century Power Solutions is seeking cable technicians the Baltimore, DC, and Northern VA area. Immediate need for experienced cable techs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull, terminate, test and label Cat5e, Cat6,Cat6A Data cabling
Install, terminate and test SM, MM fiber.
Terminate data jacks and patch panels
Perform testing and troubleshooting of equipment and cabling
Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms
Run service calls for various customers.
Work independently in commercial environment
Ability to read floor plans
Ensure safety procedures and job etiquette is up to standards
Ensure job site is cleaned up
Ability to perform site surveys and provide details to management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have experience leading a team as well as work independently
Must be able to terminate Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, Coax, and fiber.
Telecom hand tools and personal protection equipment required
All positions require applicants undergo a background check.
Lead Technicians/Service Techs will be assigned a company vehicle. This may take up to a month to place in vehicle.
BICSI Technician certification is a plus, but not required.

COVID-19 considerations:
Each technician will be required to wear a mask at all times on customer sites that require it. Office is disinfected daily. Mask will be supplied to each employee at request.
