We are the Voice Services & Wireless Core team in the Customer Technology Excellence business unit. Our span is wide and critical to TELUS’ success. From voice, messaging, 911 and mobility core services for consumers and businesses, wireless and wireline, we do it all, i.e. architecture, technology development, deployment and service assurance.
This role sits at the center of Voice Services & Wireless Core leadership team. It brings to life critical strategic organizational transformation programs that are focused on improving business results and the team member and customer experiences.

What you’ll do

  • You will drive a variety of enablement programs that in turn drive our business results and our team culture
  • This includes cost efficiency programs, structural realignments as well as ad hoc “we’ve-never-done-this-before” initiatives.
  • As a highly motivated self-starter and thought leader who has a diverse and broad skill set, and is flexible and collaborative in nature, you will work with all levels of leadership to ideate strategic results through the facilitation and delivery of high visibility and high impact results through a programmatic approach
  • Your best in class storytelling ability and concise communication style will help bring the Voice Services & Wireless Core leadership team’s organization vision to life at multiple levels and via multiple mediums – verbal, written and visual
  • You design and facilitate cross-functional leadership sessions, to drive strategic outcomes

  • You have a natural ability to form strong working relationships and transform the complicated into simple
  • You have a growth mindset, and are an engaged results-driven high achiever, and are up for the rapid pace of change
  • You have demonstrated facilitation abilities for all levels of leadership, including a high degree of comfort and confidence working directly with the team’s VP, directors and across levels within the team.
  • You can balance strategic thinking with tactical action to drive results; able to move seamlessly from strategy to tactics and from working with senior leaders to frontline leaders
  • You are a compelling communicator and your knowledge of Google Suite is excellent

Great-to-haves

  • University or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, engineering or another quantitative discipline
  • Telecommunications/technology industry experience
  • Experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix and driving large-scale organizational change
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of strategic planning methodologies
