Cartesian has an immediate opening for a Tier 2 Support and Field Operations individual to assist their client with keeping their new 5G offload network up and running.

Primary Responsibilities

· Identify, research, and remediate faults in the new 5G offload Network

· Primary focus is support of the 5G RAN from the cell sites through the CDU50s to the USM

· Determine the root cause of alarms and follow through to resolve the underlying issues, including replacing radios, antenna, cabling, etc.

Required Skills and Experience

· Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)

· Client Interfacing skills

· Consultative skills

· Experience supporting/replacing cellular radios/sites

· Experience supporting CDUs, CU/DUs, or wireless baseband units (BBUs)

· Willingness to learn through formal and self-taught (reading manuals, videos, and job tasks) options

· Experience with 5G network(s) and equipment preferred

· Prefer Samsung 5G equipment experience

Travel: 25% local travel with a future possibility of additional US travel

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 3 – 6 months
