Our client is a highly successful innovations company, they make equipment, software and systems that help to plan, deploy, certify, monitor and optimize all kinds of networks like those used for mobile phones, service providers, large businesses and data centres.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will work as part of the Research and Development team on our client’s suite of products, which provide world leading solutions for validating cutting-edge telecommunications networks. The solutions include innovative capabilities of emulating thousands of IP hosts and network applications generating real world traffic on live or emulated networks

As a member of the Development team, you will play a key role in developing solutions for key server-side functionality. You will also be responsible for the introduction of new technologies and solutions as the company’s products evolve forward.

Key Responsibilities – Senior Software Developer:

Research and development of key server-side functionality relating to:

data collection and organisation

providing automation APIs

Collaborating, designing and maintaining scalable and testable solutions.

Delivering continuously in an Agile process.

Your skills and qualifications as a Software Developer will ideally include:

Substantial C++ experience (5+ years).

Java experience (2+ years).

BASH experience (5+ years).

Strong Linux experience (5+ years).

Familiar with gmake.

Experience with valgrind and/or similar debug tools.

Agile development.

Excellent communication skills.

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Degree or MSc in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Engineering.
