Cabling Project Manager

We are looking to add another member to our team at Coast to Coast.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of Project Management or Project Coordinator experience.
  • At least 2 years of low voltage or structured cabling experience.
  • Fiber experience preferred, but not required.
  • 2-5 years in client relations, project estimation, installation and/or field experience.
  • Telecommunications experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience in Dynamics 365 is a plus. (Used in daily tasks)
  • Proficient level of Microsoft Office Suite experience. (Used heavily in daily tasks)
  • Very structured and detail orientated individual with excellent prioritization skills while juggling between client, vendor and management.
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver who has demonstrated a track record of delivering quality projects within budget and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ordering materials, equipment rentals, coordinate and set up meetings, satisfy launch dates and important deadlines, monitor and summarize the progress of the project daily as it happens.
  • Facilitate communication between the customer/client, the technical crews, vendors, affiliate subcontractors and Coast to Coast Management.
  • A project may have a very long-life cycle or a very short one; in either case, a Project Manager’s job description can be summarized as ensuring that development happens on schedule and goes smoothly.
  • Prepare reports for the customer/client and upper management regarding ongoing daily progress status of project at all times and make changes to the project as requested by the customer/client.
  • Responsible for organizing documents required for accounting purposes, including statements of work, labor and material job costing worksheets, equipment rentals, subcontractor invoices, customer/client billing and contact information and all final deliverables such as marked floor plans, cable records, cable certifications, site photos and more.
  • Will work with accounting on all job costing and margin information.
  • Needs to be able to adapt to unexpected setbacks and have a Plan-B backup game plan pre-developed for when things go wrong.
  • Assist in pre-sales and post sales process by working with customer/client, project manager, account representative, sales manager and or general manager to close potential opportunities. Assist in quote development for new or existing customers. Work with sales and general manager to confirm project packets and supplementary installation guidelines
  • Help support and provides expertise to other project team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
