Chemours is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team! This position will be part of the Site Leadership Team at our Dordrecht location.

Chemours Netherlands BV in Dordrecht is the most important production location in Europe for fluoropolymers such as Teflon ™ and Viton ™ as well as one of the biggest European down packing assets for Thermal & Specialized solutions. It has c. 500 employees at this location and generates million in sales through its two represented Business Units.
The job is a great opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will directly manage a team of more or less 10 different Supply chain representative across the 2 Business Units and all the different production lines on site.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant complex organization & supply chain experience, strong planning capabilities and even more people management skills. A result driven candidate with the ability to coach and develop the team.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead, manage and stimulate the Supply Chain team to ensure performance standards, annual objectives, policies, and procedures are met
- Regularly manage and review performance of employees according to Performance Management cycle (PMC) and ensure the team has the right level of know-how and competency to perform their responsibilities through coaching and development
- Develop and deploy local organization to support Business Units growth strategies, cultural change, IT enhancement and resources development plan.
- Measure, control and improve overall Supply Chain performance
- Oversight of Plant Production for capacity and production to plan performance and Third-Party Contract Manufacturing in all aspects of performance
- SQCD targets – cost to plan, cost to serve, end-to-end supply chain metrics
- Inventory health (raw materials, WIP, Finished Goods), non-productive inventory, inventory record accuracy, inventory to plan
- Customer delivery performance
- Responsible to ensure all Exceptions and Issues are managed and handled to minimize business impact
- Support new projects implementation and develop processes improvement
- Establish and address tactical corrective actions plan to ensure smoothest operational team activities
- Participate, coordinate, and potentially lead business regulatory requirement
- Collaborate with other departments to close gaps in operational processes
- Participate and represent Supply Chain in the Site Leadership Team and any site representation activity
- Supports and measures financial impact of operations:
- Performs required SOX controls and establishes remediation plans for any controls that are not effective.
- Forecasts, analyzes and develops improvement plans for Fixed and Variable Finished Product Distribution Expense (FPDE) and Financial Inventory Days Supply (IDS).
Skills, Education & Experience
- University degree / Business school / Engineering degree, with APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
- Experience in industrial SC, Manufacturing process improvement, including business improvement role with wide view on business, use of analytical approach in highly professional environment.
- Experience with complex international supply chains with heavy constraints is requested – (automotive, food industry, dangerous goods)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, communicating effectively with employees and collaborators
- Team-worker
- Ability to assess and improve individual and group performance.
- Very good communication skills oral and written (Dutch & English required)
- Strong leadership and ability to lead cross functional, cross-cultural teams in a dynamic growth environment
- Strong problem solving, project management and troubleshooting skills
