Compensation: $70,000-$90,000
We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees in the same or similar role.

Job Summary:
The Vendor Manager is responsible for the sourcing, bidding and on-boarding of vendors, and interacting with sub-contractors for the company. Responsible for coordinating the RFP, RFQ & RFI processes with selected Construction Vendors as well as maintain the Subcontractor database. They will work cross-functionally with PMO and Project Controls to ensure proper flow of data.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Build and maintain construction vendor relationships to secure the best prices on services
- Create and manage all pertinent RFP documents to be used in the RFP Process
- Consolidate and review received pricing/bids working with project team to award work
- Actively partner with internal teams and stakeholders to develop and execute negotiation strategies that include optimal targets for pricing, service, and quality
- Establish and maintain a vendor performance management system and communication plan for construction vendors.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with construction vendors
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products or construction types
- Liaise with construction vendors and project managers regarding updates to scope and unit rates
- Work closely with the projects team to understand details of each subcontractor need
- Work with Safety team to properly vet each subcontractor verifying their eligibility
- Manages the end-to-end onboarding of each subcontractor. To include, but not limited to the creation of MSAs, SOWs, Work Orders, and the verification of Safety and Insurance requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
General
- Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry and market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and rapport building
- Flexible to work hours as demanded by projects (evening, weekend, and/or overtime hours)
- Ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals
- Experience managing supplier relationships for an assigned set of products and/or services including regular supplier performance reviews and discussions
- Process management and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment; self-motivated
- Ability to process large amounts of often complex data, detail oriented
- Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with working with remote teams
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary
Technical
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office experience, intermediate in Excel
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, logistics, supply management, or related field preferred
- Strong telecommunications industry knowledge
