VoIP/Telecom Inventory Specialist

Are you ready to start a new career working with telecommunications equipment and technology? Medtel Communications is seeking a tech-savvy VoIP or Telecom Inventory Specialist to work onsite in our corporate office in Bradenton, FL.

This is an entry-level position, where you will be responsible for overseeing the order fulfillment of VoIP phones and related equipment, as well as device provisioning and testing. Some packaging and shipping duties are required for processing equipment shipments and returns so a background working with inventory fulfillment is helpful. You will also be trained to support and configure M-Cloud, our proprietary cloud-based phone system. You’ll be joining a team of professionals that are highly skilled in selling, implementing, and supporting telecommunications solutions. We will provide you with the necessary tools and training to succeed.

This is a great opportunity to receive on-the-job training for a highly marketable skillset in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • Track, process, and provide order status on all VoIP equipment orders working with vendors and internal teams through email and/or web-based systems
  • Provision, assign MAC addresses, and test VoIP devices
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams on active orders in accordance with onboarding timelines
  • Monitor and report on active orders
  • Troubleshoot and test equipment using internal systems
  • Work with other staff and departments to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn, follow processes, and take direction
  • Candidate should have strong skills in oral and written communications, attention to detail, time management, and work organization
  • Computer proficiency is required along with the ability to work within multiple web-based applications and programs
  • Must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed in a fast-paced working environment, especially when dealing with time-sensitive issues and mandated deadlines
  • Must have effective interpersonal skills to interact successfully with customers, management, and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Experience with inventory management, order fulfillment, or telecom equipment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Medtel Communications is following CDC guidelines for businesses. Workspace allows for social distancing and video meetings/teleconferencing is available in lieu in-person meetings.
