What you will be doing:

As a Fibre Technician you will support the business by demonstrating your willingness to problem solve and close gaps. This includes:

• Prepping, building, and splicing main line Fiber Optic Splice Closure (FOSC)

• Working in live FOSC

• Splicing circuits for node splits in existing FOSC

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in blown in fiber and micro ducts

• Ability to troubleshoot and find fiber faults using OTDR, light meters, fiber scopes, ruby red etc.

• Experience & comfort in climbing ladders

• Strong listening and communication skills

• Flexibility to work various hours – on call, rotation, occasional overnight, & weekend work

• 5 Years in Fiber Splicing

• Other duties as required
