Job Detail

Product Managers, Analytics Platform (Deerwalk, Inc., Lexington, MA): The Product Manager, Analytics Platform is responsible for product planning, roadmap execution, and product marketing for Cedar Gate’s largest analytics platform by revenue. Responsibilities include managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, along with gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. Daily duties include: Translate product strategy into Agile-based product roadmap and devise features to fulfill that roadmap; Query product usage data through Kibana, prioritizing requests in the product feature backlog based on their usage, projected reach, impact, and effort; Coordinate monthly sprint backlog planning by evaluating the time and effort required to build platform features, managing operational risks, and optimizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) iteratively; Create technical feature specifications documents with detailed explanation of the intended functionality of features, including but not limited to the statistical calculations involved, engineering considerations, feature scope, and workflows supported by mockups; Collaborate with the Analytics & Actuarial team to develop statistical algorithms for integration with the platform; Research high-impact reporting requirements, conduct clinical research, and build custom dashboards to help clients identify and act on savings opportunities for their population; Evaluate third party vendors as necessary, budget for the licensing of their tools, and oversee their integration with the platform; Provide Client Success Managers and Sales Directors with active support in answering product-related questions from clients and prospects; and Drive product version launches by educating Client Success Managers, Sales, Marketing, Training and Support, Engineering Managers, and Executives on the latest enhancements and prepare comprehensive documentation around the latest features and bug fixes. Telecommuting be permitted 2 to 3 days per week.

Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) in Computer Science or Information Technology, or a closely related field of study. Working knowledge of Elasticsearch, data querying language/tools such as SQL (Structured Query Language) and Kibana, and Agile Product Management.
