Data Center Facility Engineer at International Telecommunication company

An International Telecomunitcation Company is looking for an Operating Engineer in the NYC or Staten Island area to join their team.

Operating Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform Preventive and Proactive Maintenance, troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical systems, and other related as maintaining all Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Codes.
• Perform tests and analysis of the data to make sure the proper functions of the systems.
• Prepare maintenance logs and reports of the condition of systems
• Perform other assigned duties as needed by supervisor

Operating Engineer Requirements:

• Must hold current NYC Refrigeration Q01 / Q99 Certification or License
• Required at least 3 years+ of experience in the data center environment
• Strong experience with water tower cooling, volume pumps, chillers, and other electric-related systems.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Must be able to work in the multicultural environment

While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk, and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 – $66.00 per hour
