HomeWAV is searching for a highly-skilled, results-driven Project Manager. In this role, the individual will manage the entire installation process, from contract signature to final acceptance, by reviewing County expectations, developing project plans, and ensuring that installations are completed in a timely manner. The Project Manager will ensure the adherence to master project plans and schedules, direct resources from various departments for project preparation, and develop solutions to project problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROJECT MANAGER:
- Manages all aspects of assigned projects;
- Provides expert knowledge of IT, low voltage data, and telecommunication systems for major projects;
- Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution;
- Creates a detailed scope of work based on contractual obligations, drawings, and installation standards;
- Creates long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines;
- Delegates project tasks to employees best positioned to complete them;
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress;
- Makes effective decisions when presented with multiple options for progressing the project;
- Manages vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables;
- Directs the analysis of problems, makes recommendations, and takes action to solve them;
- Ensures project and department milestones are met, and the milestones adhere to contractual requirements;
- Manages a high-performance team by providing direction, guidance, coaching, and training;
- Sets and continually manages project expectations with internal and external stakeholders;
- Serves as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy;
- Communicates with senior leadership or the board to keep the project aligned with the County partner’s goals;
- Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected;
- Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables;
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation;
- Drives and supports departmental-level and employee-level OKRs;
- Identifies, tracks, reports, and analyzes installation metrics and KPIs in service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business performance;
- Drives department and team improvement using applications, automation, policy, process, procedure, surveys, and personnel training.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PROJECT MANAGER:
- 3+ years of experience installing or managing structured data cabling;
- CAPM or PMP certification or equivalent experience;
- Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role;
- Experience reading and understanding contracts and meeting contractual obligations;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Zendesk, preferred, and the ability to learn and become proficient in other software programs as required;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Aptitude for independent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making;
- Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking, organization, and time management skills;
- Must lead others, overcome obstacles, meet schedules, and work under pressure;
- Travel Requirement: Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%);
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
