The Impact this role will have

The Project Control Manager (PCM) will play a key role in assisting in the establishment, training, facilitation of project lifecycle including WIP management of large-scale wireless programs. The PCM will be responsible for monitoring, assisting/performing, and enforcing the coordination and management of financials, scheduling database and document control systems, and management reporting for an assigned geographic location for wireless infrastructure projects for new site builds and modifications to existing facilities. Will manage resources and systems and coordinate support between the business and the market operations group. Will be responsible for driving compliance and recommending bet practices to effectively drive targeted margins. What will your day be like

Analyze financial data with your solid business acumen, as well as recommend decisions to management that increase financial performance

Develop, implement, and maintain cost controls on projects

Provide centralized planning and scheduling on many projects

Compile, analyze and report project cost and schedule to the project team

Communicate and collaborate between all parties to ensure projects are completed with minimal disruptions and delays

Support project management through development of cost and schedule baselines, status updates, progress and performance evaluation, variation analysis and change management, forecast to complete, and project reports

Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with regional market teams

Weekly meeting with market operations project staff to review individual site progress, provide support in project tracking and financial data.

Minimize Betacom’s exposure and risk on project

Escalate and/or resolve issues in a timely manner


The specialized skills, experience, and education you will share with Betacom

Your 3 years of project management level work in the wireless telecommunication industry

Working knowledge of all aspects of wireless tower industry to include site development processes and procedures.

Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries

Knowledge of principals of cost estimating, scheduling, finance, and contract administration

Strong time and cost management skills, strong quality management and procurement management skills

Setting up and monitoring complex project schedules

Managing employees to include hiring, terminating, completing performance reviews, allocating work, setting schedules and training

Advanced computer skills and knowledge with Microsoft Office to include (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as project management software.
