We are expanding our Dedicated Networks R&D organization by establishing a Product Line Maintenance (PLM) group. We need you and your e2e test experience to enhance and support our maintenance release test ambitions at EDD, Herzogenrath, Germany.

You will be contributing to our world class user experience for our Ericsson product EP5G. PLM Test Engineer (m/f/d) – Dedicated Networks

We are expanding our PLM team by an End-2-End tester within our local test team. The role focuses on analyzing, preparing, implementing, and testing solutions and validating maintenance/ correction packages. In addition to working with the local teams, you will also interact and collaborate with supporting colleagues around the world.

You as Test Expert will help us taking next steps towards a world class test and maintenance organization. You will focus on verification, simulations, and test automation. We coordinate in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

You will

• Develop and test the DN EP5G product, a complete e2e Ericsson NW
• Execute functional and non-functional test on system and e2e level, perform troubleshooting
• Support continuous product and process improvements
• Be involved in our next steps in test automation

To be successful in the role you must have

• Bachelor´s degree in Telecommunications or IT area
• Knowledge in testing methodologies
• Experience in test automation, scripting, and CI
• Trouble shooting experience
• Experience in test case definition and documentation
• Python development skills
• Knowledge /basic understanding in Linux/Unix and docker and/or Kubernetes
