What is the Challenge:

Valo Networks is an organization striving to build and develop Fiber to the Premise (FttP) Networks and Services to mostly rural Canadians. As a Business Analyst with Valo Networks, you will assist with the tracking and root causes of issues in the current environment and help in laying out the roadmap of changes required to support the business as we grow.

Business Analyst Responsibilities
.

  • Operate as the key contact relating to all business processes for the organization.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure current state documentation is up to date and accurate.
  • Develop transition strategies to help the business “Crawl, Walk, and Run”.
  • Practical experience in Agile Delivery Methodologies.
  • Successfully engage, drive and facilitate multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts or workflows and under the direction of project managers
  • Work independently with users to define concepts or workflows and under the direction of project managers
  • Be the liaison between the project teams, technology teams, and support teams
  • Provide Transition to Operations Documentation for the operationalization of new systems and processes.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience supporting production systems
  • Experience analyzing/supporting ERP systems spanning Prospecting, CRM, Order Management, Billing and Collections.
  • Experience in Agile, SCRUM required.
  • ITIL Certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to pick up new software quickly
  • Strong ability to anticipate and respond to and define and resolve issues.
  • Able to facilitate discovery sessions
  • Be able to influence without authority
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Telecom experience.
  • A strong promoter of collaboration but not afraid to have straight-to-the-point discussions with peers and vendors.
  • Time management/ability to support multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Analytical and critical thinking mindset that is results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, written & verbal
