Description

The role of a Senior Cloud Specialist/Engineer Service Operations is to assure SITA’s competitive strength and business growth globally, to perform all Service Operations activities according to SITA standards and procedures, to maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first-class support activities and integrating well in a multicultural, fast paced, international organization and to manage and assist the Service Operations team.

What you will do:

  • Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure shortest restoral times possible initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA according to the customer contracts SLAs and monitoring requirements.
  • Support the senior team members in the management reporting and co-ordination of day-day tasks during absence of the Lead Engineer.
  • Perform assigned tasks on 13 x 7 shifts basis.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the Network/Cloud support domain.
  • Must have dealt directly with external customers adhering to SLAs.
  • Airline experience and/or ATI know-how is good to have.
  • Knowledge & understanding in one or several of the following domains:

o Virtualization, Cloud, Security and Enterprise Network protocols.

  • Ability to analyze draw conclusions and create solutions to customer’s moderately complex problems.
  • Ability to build relationships with peer and management levels both with clients and the company management.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot VMware, Cloud, LAN and WAN Infrastructure. Exposure to ITIL and IT/network components and principles.
  • Demonstrated maturity in handling complex customer issues.
  • VMware, Cloud, Security and Enterprise Networking concepts.
  • Deployment and troubleshooting of NSX-T(VMware Firewall)environment
  • Knowledge of Routing and switching with Dell OS OR Cisco.
  • Hardware architecture and troubleshooting of Juniper MX/SRX( intermediate to expert).
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization and understanding of concepts like VXLAN/Geneve/MPoGRE etc(( intermediate to expert).
  • Basic understanding of Security and working knowledge of PaloAlto FWs(( intermediate to expert).
  • Degree or equivalent Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science Electronic Engineering or equivalent Telecommunications in-country qualification.
  • Recognized industry certifications such as Virtualization:

o VCP-NV, Enterprise Routing and Switching (Must have):

o CCNP R&S or JNCIS or DELL, Security (Must Have):

o PCNSE or NSE4/7(Nice to have)

o ITIL Foundation Certificate(Nice Have)
