FIELD WALK OUT TECHNICIAN

NW Employment Solutions is partnered with a local Telecom and Utilities Construction company, and we are looking to add a Field Walkout Tech to our team!

Pay range: Starting at $20.00/hr
Locations: Millersburg, OR

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm

Benefits: All employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan immediately. PTO is 10 days with 5 days designated as Sick hours – front loaded, and there is a $1,000 sign-on bonus payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 180 days of active employment.
A company laptop, cell phone, and Email address will be provided upon assignment.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for gathering essential project information including scope of work, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate proposals.

· Calculate expenses by analyzing labor, equipment, material and time requirements of project or job.

· Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.

· Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.

· Maintain a tracker of all projects and their various stages of the bid process.

· Attend all required bid walks, meetings and conference calls related to the bid process.

· Utilize experience in Small Cell, DAS, and Fiber Splicing to clearly understand project scope of work and specific client project requirements.

· Must work in a team environment that requires regular communication and consulting with other employees, vendors, and clients

· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High school graduate or equivalent; Associate degree preferred

· Knowledge of Telecommunication Construction

· Relevant estimating certifications preferred.

· Two years minimum of related experience is required.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload on a daily basis

· Must be able to manage to strict deadlines on multiple open bid requests.
